Description

Your students will love building their own diagrams of each phase of mitosis!

These fun and unique Google Slides will help your students develop a deep understanding of the phases of mitosis. In the main activity, students drag and drop moveable pieces to create their diagrams, then describe the phase – there are three versions of this activity to allow for easy differentiation. Other activities include highlighting key info, sorting images of phases into order, calculating mitotic index with real cell photographs, and more.

Answer slides are included and there is a Google Forms Quiz for you to easily check student progress. It’s self grading, so there’s no extra work for you.

Content covered:

  • The purpose and outcome of mitosis
  • Phases of mitosis: Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase
